Host a Screening of 'Smile Pinki'

Smile Train

What is 'Smile Pinki'?

Smile Pinki is a documentary short about Pinki Sonkar — a six-year-old girl living with a severe cleft lip in one of the poorest areas of India. One day, a social worker from a Smile Train partner hospital came to her village and told her family about Smile Train’s free cleft surgery program. The story of Pinki's journey to cleft care documented in the movie won the 2008 Oscar® for Best Documentary (Short Subject).
