Smile Train Named “2023 Top-Rated Nonprofit” by GreatNonprofits

New York, NY (November 9, 2023) – Smile Train, the world’s largest cleft-focused organization, is named a “2023 Top-Rated Nonprofit” by GreatNonprofits, the leading website for community recommendations of charities and nonprofits.

Smile Train empowers local medical professionals with training, funding, and resources to provide free cleft surgery and comprehensive cleft care to children globally. Comprehensive cleft care includes dental, psychosocial, and speech-language services. Since its inception in 1999, Smile Train has sponsored more than 1.5 million free cleft surgeries worldwide. The organization strives to give every child with a cleft the opportunity to smile and lead a full and happy life.
